Aim

This self-assessment helps small and medium-sized companies to assess the level of maturity in dealing with AI technologies in your company's HR management and to develop perspectives for the use of AI in HR management.

A self-assessment only provides a subjective evaluation of your current situation.
The areas of action identified are therefore suggestions for optimization which require a detailed analysis.

Implementation

1. Access check

You can start the check by clicking the 'Start check' button on this page! The check will take about 10-15 minutes of your time and is completely anonymized. No data from the test will be saved.

2. Answer questions

Read through the answer options for each question and select the answer option that best describes the status quo in your company. Once you have given your answers, press the 'Next' button to move on to the next question. You can go back to the previous question at any time by pressing the 'Back' button.

3. Show evaluation

At the end of the self-assessment, press the 'Analyze' button. You can no longer make any changes after this. You will be redirected to the results page with the evaluation. The results are presented in the form of a maturity level and with the help of a radar chart.

4. Evaluate options for action

In addition to the maturity level and radar chart, the results page shows you values from comparable companies. Various options for increasing your maturity level are also shown.

The model

Structure

The model consists of 11 dimensions and provides an overview of AI-relevant factors that influence HR management. It is based on theoretical findings and expert interviews and was developed by the Denkfabrik Digitalisierte Arbeitswelt as part of the BMBF (German Federal Ministry of Education and Research)-funded project Kompetenzzentrum Arbeitswelt.Plus.

    The People and culture segment focuses on the involvement of employees in the company in the implementation of AI in HR management and the accompanying change management.

    Data management

    Data collection and utilisation in the context of AI applications as well as other framework conditions and regulations for data management in HR management are addressed in this section.

    Infrastructure

    The infrastructure dimension, on the other hand, is dedicated to the technological infrastructure for the use of AI applications in personnel management.

    Corporate strategy

    The dimension AI in corporate strategy describes the attitude of the company management towards the topic of AI and the role of AI in the current corporate strategy.

    Ethics

    The segment Ethics describes the conception and integration of AI guidelines in HR management.

    Recruitment is one of the core tasks of HR management.
